Promotions

Create promotion codes

Promotion codes can be created under Vouchers in the Promotions tab.

When creating the Promotion you will be able to add all the necessary information in the modal.

Name

Assign a name to the promotion

Code

Enter the code the users need to enter to receive the promotion.

Please keep in mind that:

• Code is case sensitive
• Code should be between 7 and 30 characters
• Special characters are allowed

Description

Add a description of the promotion. Please note that the minimum number of characters is 5.

Type

There are three types of promotion available and slightly different settings for each:

1. Value
   • Value - enter the value the user will receive with this promotion
2. Discount percentage on rental
   • Promotion discount - define the percentage discount on a rental
   • Applicable rental count - define for how many rentals will this promotion be valid for
3. Discount value on rental
   • Value for each rental - define the value discount on a rental
   • Applicable rental count - define how many rentals will this promotion be valid for

Once the promotion is created you can click on it to open the side-view which give you the option to activate or delete the promotion, and to change some aspects of it such as the name, description, value, etc. You are also able to add a start and end date of the promotion and limit the promotions to certain branches and vehicle categories.

Note:

If you wish a promotion to be available in all branches please create a promotion without a branch selected. A branch selector is a limiting tool in situations where you wish to allow this promotion to only one branch.

ID

The internal ID number for the promotion.

Code

Code that you want your users to enter in the End-User app to redeem the promotion. For example RIDES20.

Please keep in mind the following:

• Code is case-sensitive.
• Code should be between 7 and 30 characters
• Special characters are allowed

Name

The internal name for the promotion

Description

Short description of the promotion

Value

Amount of credits that will be added to the end-users wallet. (This field is only visible if you chose a Value promotion.)

Discount

The discount percentage that should be applied. (This field is only visible if you choose a Discount percentage on rental promotion).

Value for each rental

The value that will be deducted from the rental. (This field is only visible if you choose a Discount value on rental promotion).

Number of applicable rentals

The number of rentals per user to which the discount or value will be applied.

Valid until

Select the end date for the voucher validity.

Start and End Date

You can also decide on a start and end date for the promotion.

Branches

If you wish to limit the branches under a billable branch where the promotion should be valid. Please note that if this promotion should apply to all branches under a billable branch, it can be left blank.

Vehicle categories

You can limit the promotion to certain vehicle categories.

Validity in days

Choose for how many days the promotion code is valid.

Redeem count

See how many users have redeemed the promotion code.
