Ride passes

Operators can assign a discount percentage or discount value for a certain number of rentals and/or time. The ride pass can be restricted to certain branches or vehicle categories.

There are two types of ride passes: Discount percentage or discount value

Discount percentage

With a discount percentage, the discount will be applied to the ride, regardless of the duration of the rental. As long as the voucher is not expired, the discount will be applied to the rental value.

This option is more suited for passes where the user gets a lower discount percentage, as there is a lower chance the user will misuse the pass.

Discount value

With this option, you select the value that will be discounted on each ride. This discount is applied at the end of the rental, and if the rental value is lower than the discount, the user will pay nothing for the rental.

This option is more suited where you wish to offer a full discount on the ride, up to a certain ride duration. For example, the user will ride for free, as long as the rental is less than 30 minutes.

Additionally, the discount value is a good option if you want a ride pass where you waive the unlock fees. Simply match the ride pass value to the 'unlock fee' (base price of the pricing), and the user with the pass will have that value discounted at the end of the rental.
